Water Supply & Pump Controls

ATOM supplied controls and wireless networking for a water system spanning two sites, with 18 wells, two cisterns at the main site and multiple holding tanks at the second site. The system monitors cistern and tank levels, controls transfers between tanks and connects remote equipment through wireless links.

Distribution pumps maintain water pressure, with the pressure target adjusted to suit demand. As flow increases during the day, the system raises the pressure target, then reduces it as demand falls at night. Chemical injection pumps dose hydrogen peroxide in proportion to each well’s flow, with individual dosing rates to suit each well’s treatment requirements.

Atom HMI brings operating information, controls and historical data together, including years of well water-level history. Operators can review tank levels, flows, pressures and well behaviour over time to help manage the water supply and investigate changes.
